DTN Closing Livestock Comment 02/27 15:40 Lackadaisical Tones Dominate Tuesday's Livestock Market Heading into Wednesday's market Northern asking prices could surface but cash cattle trade isn't expected to surface until Thursday or Friday. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: It was a lackadaisical day for the livestock complex as traders only paid the market minimal attention. Hog prices closed higher on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, up $1.79 with a weighted average price of $72.70 on 5,422 head. May corn is up 2 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is down $3.70. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 96.82 points.
