DTN Early Word Grains 02/27 05:49 Grain Markets Higher After Strong Bullish Reversals in Corn, Wheat May corn is up 1 cent per bushel, May soybeans are up 12 cents, May KC wheat is up 2 1/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is down 1 cent and May Minneapolis wheat is up 6 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is up 1 cent per bushel, May soybeans are up 12 cents, May KC wheat is up 2 1/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is down 1 cent and May Minneapolis wheat is up 6 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mostly higher Tuesday morning, but the gains are small. Monday's trade resulted in slightly lower closes as traders await the PCE data on Wednesday which may hold clues to the next move from the Federal Reserve. Monday's new home sales report was slightly below expectations, as interest rates are still having an impact on housing. Tuesday morning, we will get reports on Durable goods and Consumer Confidence. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 62.30 at 39,069.23 and the S&P 500 down 19.27 at 5,069.53, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.30%. Early Tuesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are up 7 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.1%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.37% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.02%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.01% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.29%.
