DTN Closing Grain Comments 02/28 13:44 Corn, Soybeans, Soymeal Strengthen; Wheat Reverses on Better Rain Chance, Weak Russian Values Corn and soybeans showed some strength Wednesday, with corn rising for the third consecutive day. Strength is partly attributed to a warmer and drier outlook for the next 10 days to two weeks for parts of central and northern Brazil. Wheat is lower on a better prospect for rain by early next week in hard red winter areas and continued pressure from very cheap Russian FOB values. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 5 cents per bushel, May soybeans were up 4 1/2 cents per bushel. May KC wheat finished down 4 3/4 cents per bushel, May Chicago wheat closed down 9 1/2 cents per bushel and May Minneapolis wheat ended down 4 3/4 cents.
