DTN Closing Grain Comments 02/29 13:46 Corn Goes for Four Straight Higher Closes; Soymeal Makes New Low and Recovers; Wheat Higher Corn futures succeeded in closing higher for the fourth consecutive day in quiet, two-sided trade. Soybeans and soymeal, after falling to new lows, recovered some. But beans still closed lower, while soymeal closed with a small gain. All three wheat markets rose as well despite larger than expected deliveries against the March contract. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn finished up 1 cent per bushel, May soybeans were down 4 1/2 cents per bushel. May KC wheat was up 6 1/4 cents per bushel, May Chicago wheat finished up 1 1/2 cents per bushel and May Minneapolis wheat closed up 2 1/2 cents.
