DTN Closing Livestock Comment 03/01 16:36 Livestock Complex Finds Technical Support by Week's End The livestock complex may have been pressured midweek, but thankfully the market was able to close higher ahead of the weekend. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: It was a positive day for the livestock complex as all three markets rounded out the week on a stronger note. Hog prices closed lower on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $2.82 with a weighted average price of $72.67 on 2,002 head. May corn is down 4 3/4 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is up $3.10. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 90.99 points.
