DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/05 13:42 Chicago Wheat Futures Plunge to New Low; Corn, Soy Weaken on Wet South American Forecast Grain and soy markets headed lower on Tuesday pressured by a favorable weather outlook for much of South America. Wheat hit the skids again with Chicago futures falling to a new low. Funds likely sold more on Tuesday adding to shorts. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 3 3/4 cents per bushel, May soybeans finished down 6 cents per bushel. May KC wheat was down 11 cents per bushel, May Chicago wheat slipped 13 cents per bushel and May Minneapolis wheat ended down 4 3/4 cents.
