DTN Early Word Grains 03/08 05:49 Grain Markets Mixed Ahead of Friday Morning's USDA March Supply and Demand Report May corn is down 2 1/2 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 1 1/4 cents, May KC wheat is up 1 3/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 5 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is up 2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 2 1/2 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 1 1/4 cents, May KC wheat is up 1 3/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 5 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is up 2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed overnight after another day where Fed Chairman Powell spoke before Congress. Little new was said, but the 10-year note fell below 4.1%. This triggered another strong session for U.S. stock futures where the losses earlier this week have been fully erased. Friday morning, we get non-farm payrolls where the trade is expecting 198,000 new jobs and an unemployment rate of 3.7%, unchanged from last month. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 130.30 at 38,791.35 and the S&P 500 up 52.60 at 5,157.36, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.09%. Early Friday, the March Dow Jones Futures are down 35 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.45%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.14% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.22%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.23% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.62%.
