DTN Early Word Grains 03/12 05:46 Grain Markets Mostly Lower After Monday's Rally May corn is down 2 1/2 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 1/4 cent, May KC wheat is down 7 1/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is down 4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is down 5 1/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 2 1/2 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 1/4 cent, May KC wheat is down 7 1/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is down 4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is down 5 1/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Tuesday morning with Europe a little higher and Asia a little lower. U.S. markets are mixed as well after Monday's quiet session. The markets are anticipating the new inflation numbers that will be out this week and the impact that may have on the Federal Reserve's decisions. The Fed will be meeting next week. Tuesday morning, the CPI data for February will be released. Traders are expecting the CPI to be up 0.3% in February, with the year-over-year rise to be up 3.1%. Core CPI year-over-year is expected to be up 3.7%. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 46.97 at 38,769.66 and the S&P 500 down 5.75 at 5,117.94, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.10%. Early Tuesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are down 21 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 1.05%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.26% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.01%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.06% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.41%.
