DTN Early Word Grains 03/13 05:47 Corn, Soybeans Lower Wednesday Morning While Chicago Wheat Remains Higher May corn is down 1/2 cent per bushel, May soybeans are down 7 1/4 cents, May KC wheat is down 3 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 2 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is down 2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 1/2 cent per bushel, May soybeans are down 7 1/4 cents, May KC wheat is down 3 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 2 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is down 2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Wednesday morning with Europe continuing to trend a little higher and Asia moving lower. The U.S. markets were strong Tuesday with the S&P 500 posting a new record close. Tuesday's CPI number was slightly "hotter" than expected, but not so much that the marketplace still doesn't believe that interest rate cuts are going to come sometime this year. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 235.83 at 39,005.49 and the S&P 500 up 57.33 at 5,175.27, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.16%. Early Wednesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are up 13 points. European markets are mixed/higher/lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.14%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.02% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.46%. Asian markets are mixed/higher/lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.26% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.4%.
