DTN Early Word Grains 03/14 05:50 Grain Markets Mixed Thursday Morning Ahead of U.S. Export Sales Report May corn is steady, May soybeans are up 7 cents, May KC wheat is down 5 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat is down 6 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is down 3 1/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is steady, May soybeans are up 7 cents, May KC wheat is down 5 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat is down 6 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is down 3 1/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Thursday morning, and markets are anticipating the U.S. PPI report as well as retail sales which will both be released Thursday morning. We have seen a small increase in U.S. interest rates after Tuesday's CPI report and the PPI report is expected to also be a little stronger than last month. This has not stopped the U.S. equity market which is poised just underneath lifetime highs. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 37.83 at 39,043.32 and the S&P 500 down 9.96 at 5,165.31, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.19%. Early Thursday, the June Dow Jones Futures are up 112 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.03%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.21% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.83%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.29% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.18%.
