DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/02 13:47 Corn, Wheat Prices Sag at Start of April; U.S. Dollar Rises May contracts of corn, soybeans and all three U.S. wheats finished lower Tuesday pressured by rain in the forecast for central Brazil and heightened concerns in outside markets. Tuesday's bullish exceptions were in the vegetable oil sector where higher crude oil prices helped May soybean oil hold a gain of 0.36 cent. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 9 cents and December corn was down 6 3/4 cents. May soybeans closed down 11 3/4 cents and November soybeans were down 5 1/2 cents. May KC wheat closed down 12 1/4 cents, May Chicago wheat was down 11 3/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was down 7 1/4 cents.
