Hard Winter Wheat Tour Day 1 Results

COLBY, Kan. (DTN) -- Day 1 of the Wheat Quality Council's Hard Winter Wheat Tour concluded Tuesday, May 14, with a total weighted average yield estimate of 49.9 bushels per acre (bpa). Field sampling occurred along six routes in northwest and north-central Kansas from Manhattan to Colby, along with some sampling in select counties in southern Nebraska.

Last year, the average yield estimate on these same routes was 29.8 bpa.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
