DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/22 13:42 Wheat Forges a New Recent High But Can't Hold, Corn and Soybeans and Soy Products Finish Higher All three wheat markets along with the French milling wheat futures rushed to new rally highs before reversing to trade lower. Paris milling wheat gapped higher before finishing down, and Kansas City and Chicago July both had round-trippers, with Chicago and KC finishing more than 20 cents lower than the high. Corn and soybeans also started higher, fading at mid-session before finishing strong. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn finished up 3 1/4 cents per bushel and July soybeans were up 10 cents per bushel. July KC wheat closed down 2 cents per bushel, July Chicago wheat was down 4 1/2 cents per bushel and July Minneapolis wheat finished the day down 2 1/4 cents.
