DTN Early Word Grains 06/21 05:52 Grain Markets Higher, Bouncing From Thursday's Poor Session July corn is up 1 1/2 cents per bushel, July soybeans are up 7 1/2 cents, September KC wheat is up 1 1/2 cents, July Chicago wheat is up 1 3/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is up 5 1/2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: July corn is up 1 1/2 cents per bushel, July soybeans are up 7 1/2 cents, September KC wheat is up 1 1/2 cents, July Chicago wheat is up 1 3/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is up 5 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are lower, after U.S. markets saw the S&P and the NASDAQ correct after a series of new lifetime highs. Interest rates were a little stronger, despite the economic data on Thursday that was mostly weaker than trade expectations. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was the exception on Thursday, rallying to post triple-digit gains. Friday, we have the S&P flash PMIs for both manufacturing and services, and existing home sales. The market will also be looking ahead to next week when the new PCE inflation data will be released. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 299.90 at 39,134.76 and the S&P 500 down 13.86 at 5,473.17, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.254%. Early Friday, the September Dow Jones Futures are down 54 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.72%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.48% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.69%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.09% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.24%.
