DTN Closing Grain Comments 06/24 14:27 Traders Reassess Corn Positions After Flooding While Meal Surges Curiously Higher Even after widespread flooding in five corn states, December corn sold off sharply at Monday's 8:30 a.m. CDT bell, but fought back to end down 1 1/2 cents as traders reassessed their bearish views. November soybeans were up 10 1/2 cents with bullish influence from an $11.00 gain in July soybean meal, ahead of Thursday's hog inventory report. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 1 1/2 cents and December corn was down 1 1/2 cents. July soybeans closed up 14 3/4 cents and November soybeans were up 10 1/2 cents. September KC wheat closed up 1/2 cent, September Chicago wheat was down 4 3/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 4 1/2 cents.
