DTN Early Word Grains 06/25 05:57 Grain Markets Mostly Lower Despite Lower Crop Condition Ratings July corn is down 3 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 7 1/2 cents, September KC wheat is down 1/2 cent, September Chicago wheat is down 1 cent and September Minneapolis wheat is up 2 3/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: July corn is down 3 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 7 1/2 cents, September KC wheat is down 1/2 cent, September Chicago wheat is down 1 cent and September Minneapolis wheat is up 2 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mostly lower as a rout in technology stocks, especially Nvidia weighed on the NASDAQ Monday and has traders concerned about the concentration of stock gains in just a few issues. The Dow was higher on Monday as dollars revolving out of Nvidia were moving into more traditional companies. Traders will be looking ahead to Friday's PCE report as the next major clue for interest rate direction. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous close Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 260.88 at 39,411.21 and the S&P 500 down 16.75 at 5,447.87, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.25%. Early Tuesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are down 47 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.47%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 1.17% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.73%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.95% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.44%.
