DTN Early Word Grains 06/26 06:36 Grain Markets Trying to Bounce After Poor Session Tuesday July corn is up 2 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 4 1/4 cents, September KC wheat is up 3 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 2 1/2 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is up 3 3/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: July corn is up 2 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 4 1/4 cents, September KC wheat is up 3 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 2 1/2 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is up 3 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mostly higher Wednesday morning, as the decline in interest rates over the past two weeks helps support the stock market. Tuesday's release of the Case Schiller Home Price Index showed prices a little firmer than traders anticipated, and consumer confidence was also a little better. But neither data point was enough to suggest that inflation was coming back. We will see new home sales data Wednesday morning, with this week's major data point being the PCE data that will be released on Friday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 299.05 at 39,112.16 and the S&P 500 up 21.43 at 5,469.30, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.24%. Early Wednesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are down 35 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.21%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.46% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.28%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 1.26% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.76%.
