DTN Closing Grain Comments 06/28 13:54 Corn Prices Fall on Bearish Planting, Stocks Estimates From USDA December corn fell 13 cents to $4.20 3/4 Friday after USDA estimated 91.5 million acres of corn plantings and 4.993 billion bushels of corn stocks on hand June 1, both more than expected. November soybeans ended the day down 3/4 cent and September contracts of all three wheats were also lower, in spite of roughly neutral reports for soybeans and wheat. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 16 1/2 cents and December corn was down 13 cents. July soybeans closed down 1 3/4 cents and November soybeans were down 3/4 cent. September KC wheat closed down 10 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat was down 6 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 5 cents.
