DTN Closing Livestock Comment 07/19 15:52 Hogs Push Higher Through Friday's Close The lean hog complex rallied through the week's close as pork demand is gaining momentum. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: The cattle complex closed mixed Friday afternoon as traders remained cautious ahead of the monthly Cattle on Feed report, but the lean hog market rallied on through the day's end. Hog prices closed lower on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $2.97 with a weighted average price of $82.42 on 1,270 head. December corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel and December soybean meal is down $4.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 377.49 points.

We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
