DTN Closing Grain Comments 08/28 13:48 Chicago Wheat Rises Again After Key Reversal; Corn, Soybeans, Meal Pull Back on Rain Chicago wheat futures, along with Kansas City and Minneapolis, moved higher again Wednesday -- a positive sign following Tuesday's key reversal from a new contract low. Corn, with a similar chart pattern, traded both sides before leaking to close lower, while soybeans and soymeal fell as some decent rain moved across the eastern belt, and especially northern Illinois and Indiana. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn was down 2 cents per bushel, November soybeans closed down 9 1/2 cents per bushel. December KC wheat settled up 9 cents per bushel, December Chicago wheat was up 6 cents per bushel and December Minneapolis wheat finished up 9 1/2 cents. The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.590 at 101.045. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 377.41 points at 40,873.09. December gold is down $14.60 at $2,538.30, September silver is down $0.83 at $29.16 and December copper is down $0.0940 at $4.2095. October crude oil is down $0.98 at $74.55, October heating oil is down $0.0533, October RBOB is down $0.0322 and October natural gas is up $0.017.
