DTN Early Word Grains 08/28 05:45 Grain Markets Lower on ECB Rainfall in the Northern Half of Illinois, Indiana December corn is down 2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 7 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 1/4 cent, December Chicago wheat is up 1 1/2 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 1 cent. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 7 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 1/4 cent, December Chicago wheat is up 1 1/2 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 1 cent. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed on Wednesday after Tuesday's quiet but slightly higher U.S. close. Wednesday morning's highlight will be the results from Nvidia, which will be released after the market opens. This release could result in some significant volatility depending on the details. We are not going to see any major economic data releases Wednesday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 9.98 at 41,250.50 and the S&P 500 up 8.96 at 5,625.80. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.83%. Early Wednesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are up 12 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.13%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.7% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.43%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.22% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.4%.
