DTN Early Word Grains 09/03 05:48 Grain Markets Mostly Lower Tuesday Morning on High Yield Expectations December corn is down 2 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 2 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is down 8 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 5 1/2 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 5 3/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 2 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 2 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is down 8 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 5 1/2 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 5 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are lower Tuesday morning as traders evaluate data that may impact the size of the rate cut that traders now anticipate will happen at the September meeting of the Federal Reserve. The U.S. 10-year interest rate rallied to close at 3.91% on Friday, as PCE data was in line with trade expectations, but other economic data was slightly better, leading traders to imply a 25-point rate cut as opposed to the 50-point cut that some traders had been pricing in. This week's major economic reports include the ISM manufacturing index on Tuesday, the U.S. trade deficit, job openings, and factory orders on Wednesday, jobless claims and ISM services on Thursday, and the U.S. employment report on Friday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 228.03 at 41,563.08 and the S&P 500 up 56.44 at 5,648.40. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.911%. Early Tuesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are down 210 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.57%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.41% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.29%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.04% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.29%.
