DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/25 13:44 Bean Oil Surges to Eighth Straight Higher Finish; Corn, Soybeans, Wheat Finish Strong In very slow early trade Wednesday, corn and soybeans gravitated around unchanged before rallying, while bean oil closed higher for the eighth straight day. Wheat markets, in two-sided trade early on, finished higher, supported by expanding dryness in Russia. Corn and soy harvest is set to expand over the next two weeks with a mostly clear Plains and western Midwest forecast. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed up 3 1/2 cents per bushel at $4.15 1/4 and March corn was up 2 1/2 cents at $4.33 1/4. November soybeans closed up 11 cents at $10.53 1/4 and January soybeans were up 11 1/4 cents at $10.71 3/4. December KC wheat closed up 10 cents at $5.81, December Chicago wheat was up 11 1/4 cents at $5.89 1/4 and December Minneapolis wheat was up 5 1/4 cents at $6.17.
