DTN Closing Grain Comments 10/08 14:17 Energy Correction, Brazil Rains Weigh on Grain Markets Corn, soybeans, and wheat all finished lower Tuesday as weakness in the energy market spilled over into the ag markets. Better precipitation prospects in South America as well as steady U.S. harvest pace also pressured markets. Rhett Montgomery DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 5 1/4 cents and March corn was down 4 1/2 cents. November soybeans closed down 17 3/4 cents and March soybeans were down 18 1/2 cents. December KC wheat closed up 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat was up 2 1/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was up 1 cents.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
