DTN Early Word Grains 10/16 05:47 Grain Markets Trading on Oversold Conditions, Chinese Soybean Demand Rumors December corn is up 2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 6 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 2 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 3 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is up 1 cent. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 6 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 2 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 3 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is up 1 cent. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed after U.S. markets broke their winning streak, closing lower on Tuesday. Economic news remains light, but pressure Tuesday came from the chip sector where earnings were disappointing. Markets continue to monitor economic data for clues regarding the next move from the Federal Reserve. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 324.80 at 42,740.42 and the S&P 500 down 44.59 at 5,815.26. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.038%. Early Wednesday, the December Dow Jones Futures are down 15 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.49%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.52% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.54%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 1.83% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.05%.
