DTN Early Word Grains 11/15 05:49 Grain Markets Higher, Led by Rebound in World Vegetable Oil Values December corn is up 1 cent per bushel, January soybeans are up 10 3/4 cents, December KC wheat is up 3 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 3 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is up 4 1/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 1 cent per bushel, January soybeans are up 10 3/4 cents, December KC wheat is up 3 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 3 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is up 4 1/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed after a late session sell-off in U.S. equity prices on Thursday. Fed Chairman Powell spoke on Thursday and took a more hawkish tone than was seen last week. PPI data was as expected but did not imply that inflation has fallen to the goal of the Federal Reserve. Interest rates rallied and stocks fell. Friday's major report will be retail sales. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 207.33 at 43,750.86 and the S&P 500 down 36.21 at 5,949.17. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.418%. Early Friday, the December Dow Jones Futures are down 167 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.04%, Germany's DAX is steady and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.12%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.28% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 1.45%.
