DTN Early Word Grains 11/25 05:44 Grain Markets Mixed With Soybeans Rebounding While Wheat Sinks December corn is down 1 1/4 cents per bushel, January soybeans are up 5 3/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 7 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 6 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 4 1/2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 1 1/4 cents per bushel, January soybeans are up 5 3/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 7 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 6 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 4 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mostly higher Monday morning, trying to catch up to the rebound in U.S. markets during Friday's session. Friday's rally brought a new high weekly close for the DJIA, on optimism for U.S. companies under the new administration due to a lower regulatory burden and on lower interest rates from the Fed. Friday's PMI readings were mixed with manufacturing slower than expectations but services still very strong. New data points in this holiday shortened week will include the Case Shiller home price index, consumer confidence, new home sales, and the release of the Fed minutes on Tuesday. Wednesday brings the initial jobless claims, durable goods, inventories, the U.S. trade balance, 3rd quarter GDP, personal income, and the PCE index which is the Fed's favorite inflation indicator. In agriculture, we will get inspections and cold storage on Monday, ethanol production on Wednesday, and export sales on Friday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 426.16 at 44,296.51 and the S&P 500 up 20.63 at 5,969.34. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.41%. Early Monday, the December Dow Jones Futures are up 311 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.05%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.24% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.06%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 1.3% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.1%.
