DTN Closing Livestock Comment 12/10 15:42 Traders Push Both the Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle Contracts Higher It was a mixed day for the livestock complex as cattle pushed higher, but hogs fell lower, but some early sales were noted in the cash cattle market at $191 in the South. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: The livestock complex closed mixed with the lean hog contracts rounding out the day lower, but the cattle contracts successfully rallied through Tuesday's end. A few Southern live cattle traded in the South at $191 which is steady with last week's weighted average. March corn is up 7 1/4 cents per bushel and January soybean meal is up $2.40. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 154.10 points.
