USDA APHIS Shares Update on Seven New States Coming on Board for its National Milk Testing Strategy

WASHINGTON, December 17, 2024 – Today, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is announcing the second round of states coming on board as part of its National Milk Testing Strategy (NMTS) that was launched Dec. 6., and which requires that raw (unpasteurized) milk samples nationwide be collected and shared with USDA for testing.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
