Export bid structures did switch to showing a modest carry over the next two months, as recent demand has been for deferred delivery. Winter wheat growing regions of the Pacific Northwest have been receiving relatively steady moisture over the past two weeks, but have yet to establish any significant snow cover. Shipments...Weekly export inspections revealed a respectable pace of wheat movement off U.S. ports over the holiday-week, coming in at 15.1 million bushels. Year-to-date shipments now stand at 467 million bushels, which is up 25% from the same period a year ago. Hard red winter was the top mover with 5.4 million bushels, followed by hard red spring with 4.1 million and white wheat with 1.3 million. West coast exporters loaded a total of 5.5 million bushels of wheat, going mostly to South Korea, along with 12.5 million bushels of soybeans and 6.3 million bushels of corn. - Norm Ruhoff Contributing Analyst Copyright 2025 DTN/Telvent.
