DTN Early Word Grains 02/05 05:52 Grain Markets Mixed With Corn, Soybeans Making New Highs Overnight March corn is up 2 cents per bushel, March soybeans are down 1 1/2 cents, March KC wheat is up 6 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat is up 4 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is up 4 3/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is up 2 cents per bushel, March soybeans are down 1 1/2 cents, March KC wheat is up 6 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat is up 4 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is up 4 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets ate mixed but mostly lower on Wednesday. Tuesday saw U.S. futures recover after a poor start and regain most of Monday's losses. The delay in tariffs was one reason, and a lower-than-expected job openings report was another reason for the rally as that could be one factor in favor of lower interest rates from the Fed. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 134.13 at 44,556.04 and the S&P 500 up 43.31 at 6,037.88. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.513%. Early Wednesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are down 64 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.01%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.12% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.18%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.08% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.32%.
