DTN Closing Grain Comments 10/19 13:48 Grains Slide Lower in Quiet Trading All three grains closed lower Monday, pressured by a higher U.S. dollar index and forecasts for rain in the southwestern U.S. Plains and central Brazil. Another soybean purchase from China and a week of bullish soybean inspections were not enough to lift prices on Monday.
