DTN Closing Grain Comments 10/02 14:00 Grains Mostly Lower, Joaquin Brings Rain After a day of trading both sides of the market, grains faded at the end and closed mostly lower. Winter wheat planting should have made good progress this week and a threat of heavy rain from Hurricane Joaquin will be watched this weekend, but it is not expected to hurt crops beyond the coastal states.
