Bid structures show the protein wheats continuing to post flat prices through December, with white wheat posting carries of 3 cents per month. Trading activity remains limited at current flat price levels. Shipments...Weekly export inspections revealed a slower week of wheat shipments last week, coming in at only 10 mb to put year-to-date loadings at 226 mb and 17% behind a year ago. White wheat was the bright spot for shipments last week, accounting for nearly half the total with ships for Japan, the Philippines and Yemen being the primary destinations. Crop Progress..Precipitation across most of the Pacific Northwest last week coaxed some additional winter wheat plantings, with another 15 to 20% of the crop planted across the 3 states. Washington stands at 80% planted, Idaho at 38%, and Oregon nearly halfway planted but thus far showing poor emergence. Montana is 92% planted and emerging 25% ahead of average. -Norm Ruhoff Contributing Analyst Copyright 2015 DTN/Telvent. All Rights Reserved.
