By Darin Newsom DTN Senior Analyst a6:00 a.m. CME Globex: July corn was fractionally higher, July beans were 4 cents higher, and July Chicago wheat was fractionally higher. CME Globex Recap: Grains were unchanged to higher early Tuesday morning following another quiet overnight session. Soybeans once again led the sector, supported by renewed buying in soybean meal. Outside markets were mixed with crude oil higher and gold giving back some of Monday's rally. The U.S. dollar index was posting a small loss while DJIA futures followed-through on Monday's strength to show a solid gain. OUTSIDE MARKETS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 175.39 points higher at 17,710.71, the NASDAQ Composite was up 57.78 points at 4,775.46, and the S&P 500 rallied 20.05 points to close at 2,066.66 Monday. DJIA futures were 26 points higher overnight. Asian markets were mostly higher with Japan's Nikkei up 186.40 points (1.1%) while China's Shanghai Composite dipped 7.18 points (0.3%). European markets were higher with London's FTSE 100 up 51.48 points (0.8%). The U.S. dollar index lost 0.027 to 94.545. Crude oil rallied $0.11 to $47.83 while Brent crude lost $0.12 to $48.85. June gold was $1.90 lower at $1,272.30. China's Dalian soybean futures and Malaysian palm oil futures were both higher overnight.
