DTN Early Word Grains 06/03 05:58 Soybeans Continue Higher July corn was up 3/4 cent, July soybeans were up 15 3/4 cents, and July Chicago wheat was up 1/2 cent. By Todd Hultman DTN Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: July corn was up 3/4 cent, July soybeans were up 15 3/4 cents, and July Chicago wheat was up 1/2 cent. CME Globex Recap: July soybeans are higher again early Friday with another push from commercial buying for soybeans and meal. Corn and wheat are just slightly higher with flooding in Texas seen as the main concern for crops this week. OUTSIDE MARKETS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 48.89 points higher Thursday at 17,838.56; the NASDAQ Composite was up 19.11 points at 4,971.36, and the S&P 500 was up 5.93 points at 2,105.26. DJIA futures are 7 points higher overnight. Asian markets are a little higher with the Nikkei up 75.00 (+.45%) while China's Shanghai Composite is up .45%. European markets are higher with London's FTSE 100 up 50.0 points (+0.8%). The U.S. dollar index is up 0.04 at 95.61. July crude oil was up $0.05 at $49.22 while Brent crude was up $0.08 to $50.12. August gold was $1.40 higher at $1,213.90. China's Dalian soybean futures were higher while Malaysian palm oil futures were 0.8% higher.
