Hard red winter prices have also shown a good week-to-week gain and are hovering near the upper end of a price range in place since last June. Export bid structures show all markets remaining flat into June. Shipments...Weekly export shipments showed another relatively good week of export loadings for U.S. wheat, coming in at 19.7 mb to put year-to-date shipments at 715 mb and 28% ahead of a year ago. Top shipper this week was hard red spring wheat with nearly 13 mb, followed by hard red winter with a 3.6 mb total and white wheat with 2.9 mb. Topping a long list of west coast destinations this week was China with 2.3 mb, followed by Bangladesh at 2.0 mb and Guatemala with 1.9 mb. Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and Yemen were also takers of about 1.2 mb each. -Norm Ruhoff Contributing Analyst Copyright 2017 DTN/Telvent. All Rights Reserved.
