A sharply lower basis on white wheat to Chicago muted most of those gains, while nearby basis on both hard red winter and springs accentuated the move in futures. Bids show soft white basis down 13 cents from yesterday, while hard red winter is bid a dime higher and dark northern spring is up a nickel. Shipments...Weekly export inspections showed another solid week for U.S. wheat loadings, as all classes of wheat saw good movement. Topping the list was hard red winter with 7 mb, followed by soft white with 6.6 mb. Soft red winter registered 4.6 mb for the week while red spring saw a total of 3.4 mb shipped. Top destinations off the west coast included Yemen and Indonesia, both near 3.3 mb, and Vietnam with 1.7 mb. -Norm Ruhoff Contributing Analyst Copyright 2019 DTN/Telvent. All Rights Reserved.
