By Tregg Cronin DTN Contributing Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: May corn is down 1 cent per bushel, May soybeans are down 2 cents, and May K.C. wheat is up 1 cent. CME Globex Recap: Mixed equity markets around the globe Wednesday morning as investors are still trying to balance slow-growth fears with a shift to easier monetary policy in the U.S. The next round of trade talks kick off in Beijing on Thursday before moving back to Washington D.C. next week. Grain markets are also mixed at midweek, taking stock ahead of both the trade talks and the March 29 USDA reports. There seems to be growing expectation for volatility following Friday's reports, although USDA reports have largely been devoid of earth-shattering changes in the 2018/19 marketing year. Given the recent Midwest flooding, traders may opt to take a wait-and-see approach with acreage ideas this spring.
