By Tregg Cronin DTN Contributing Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: May corn is down 1 cent per bushel, May soybeans are up 3/4 cents, and May K.C. wheat is down 1 1/4 cents. CME Globex Recap: Global equities are higher Friday morning as optimism reigns surrounding the U.S-China trade talks in Beijing. U.S. Treasury Secretary Mnuchin said the two sides had a "productive working dinner" on Thursday evening while the White House's top economic advisor said Thursday that talks could continue for months. The strategy by the White House of talking discussions up one minute, only to talk them down the next is what has patience in financial markets wearing thin over the trade war. Grains are mixed ahead of the next batch of USDA reports scheduled to be released late morning Friday. The March 1 stocks data will be the key information while traders are likely to move past the acreage data quickly given the lack of certainty by farmers on intention changes.
