By Tregg Cronin DTN Contributing Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: July corn is down 1 cent per bushel, July soybeans are up 1 cent, and July K.C. wheat is down 2 1/2 cents. CME Globex Recap: Lightly mixed equity markets around the globe Tuesday morning as investors await the state of the next FOMC meeting. Market expectations are almost unanimous that the Fed will leave its interest rate policy unchanged at 2.25-2.50%. Markets are much more focused on the potential for a trade deal when Chinese negotiators visit Washington D.C. next week following trade talks in Beijing this week. Grain markets are mixed to weaker as crop progress data is still not enough to rally prices on its own despite growing anxiety by a U.S. farmer unable to turn a wheel. Large inventories remain in the hands of the farmer, setting up a high-stakes showdown between the natural seller and a record fund short sometime this spring or early summer. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 11.06 at 26,554.39 and the S&P 500 up 3.15 at 2,939.88 while the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 2.536%.
