USDA is seeking 4.3 mb of US. white wheat this week for donation to Yemen. Protein wheat markets showed both hard red winter and spring wheat drifting with futures. Shipments...Weekly export inspections showed another good week of U.S. wheat loadings, coming in at 21.7 mb to put the year-to-date total at 910 mb and 4% ahead of a year ago. Hard red winter was the big mover for the week, accounting for more than half the overall total a t 11.5 mb. Spring wheat and soft white both shipped 3.2 mb. Top destination off the PNW was Malaysia with 2.8 mb, followed by Singapore with 2.1 mb. Crop Progress...Recent moisture across the Pacific Northwest reflected in crop ratings this week, as the three-state index recovered 3% to 102% of average. Good to excellent ratings for Idaho jumped 8% to 71% and the Washington crop improved 12% in that category to 73%.
