DTN Early Word Grains 06/10 05:59 Grains Weaker on Planting Progress, WASDE Estimates July corn is down 3 1/4 cents, July soybeans are down 5 cents, and July K.C. wheat is down 4 3/4 cents. CME Globex Recap: Equity markets are higher around the globe Monday morning as investors look forward to the easy money policies from the Federal Reserve continuing for the foreseeable future. Employment figures in the U.S. and trade concerns will keep growth fears alive and well. Grains are weaker across the board to begin the new trading week with crop progress due Monday afternoon and the June WASDE Tuesday morning. Producers have been busy slamming corn and soybeans in the ground where able with Market Facilitation Payments and big rally ideas dancing in farmers' heads. The market is taking a breather as most realize the yield component will decide how tight the U.S. corn and soybean balance sheets can get in 2019/20. Yield determining weather is still 30 days away, even if some academics have already written these crops off for the season. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 263.28 at 25,983.94 and the S&P 500 up 29.85 at 2,843.49 while the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 2.084%. Early Monday, the June DJIA futures are up 82 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 up 249.71 (1.2%) and China's Shanghai Composite up 24.33 points (0.86%). European markets are higher with London's FTSE 100 up 40.8 points (0.56%), Germany's DAX up 92.24 points (0.77%) and France's CAC 40 up 14.64 points (0.27%). The June Euro is down 0.004 at 1.130 and the June U.S. dollar index is up 0.310 at 96.800. The September 30-Year T-Bond is down 26/32nds, while August gold is down $13.60 at $1,332.50 and July crude oil is up $0.01 at $54.00. Soybeans on China's Dalian Exchange were down -0.94% while soybean meal was down -2.14%.
