DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/30 13:44 Row Crops Surge Higher On Fewer Supplies December corn closed up 16 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 23 cents, both benefiting from lower-than-expected supplies on Sept. 1 and, in the case of soybeans, possible trade optimism. Winter wheat prices were modestly higher, but December Minneapolis wheat ended down 2 1/2 cents, even after a stormy weekend in the northwestern U.S. Plains.
