By Tregg Cronin DTN Contributing Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: December corn is down 1 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 1 3/4 cents, and December K.C. wheat is down 1/2 cent. CME Globex Recap: Global equities are lightly mixed as investors await the October employment report in the U.S. which is expected to show 148,000 jobs added during September vs. 130,000 in August. The unemployment rate is expected to remain unchanged at 3.7%, just 0.1% above the 49-year low hit this spring. Grain markets are mostly weaker heading into the weekend, although media outlets suggest President Trump could unveil his biofuel policy early Friday morning. Depending on the details of the plan, this could give a further boost to corn and ethanol prices, provided the incentives for the refining and blending industries do not overshadow the biofuel industry. Otherwise, traders await additional yield reports in the run-up to the October 10 WASDE report. Following the mostly supportive September 1 stocks data, updated balance sheets could have a supportive construct for the first time in months. Weather forecasters suggest the next round of frost/freeze will come October 11 with the potential for snow in the Upper-Midwest.
