As a result, soft white bids moved back above $6 for the first time since late July. Shipments...Weekly export inspections showed total U.S. wheat loadings down about 20% from the prior week at 14.1 mb, putting total shipments for the year at 327 mb and 21% ahead of a year ago. With virtually no hard red winter leaving U.S. ports, hard red spring was top shipper at 4.1 mb with soft white registering 3.8 mb. Top destinations off the west coast ports were the Philippines with 3.2 mb, followed by Vietnam at 2.1 mb and Yemen taking 1.8 mb for the week. Crop Progress...Pacific Northwest winter wheat plantings showed Idaho making good progress over the past week, sowing another 15% of the crop to get within 10% of average at 58% planted.
