White wheat continues to tread at the $6 mark and premiums have been building on club wheat; closing the week at $1.70 over soft white. Shipments...Weekly export sales showed U.S. wheat sales came in 27% below the prior week and below the four-week average at 13.2 mb. Total commitments stand at 549 mb, which is 9% ahead of a year ago but down 2% from the five-year average pace. Top seller for the week was hard red wpring wheat with 4.4 mb to put sales at 151 mb; down 7% from last year and 12% behind average. Hard red winter registered 3.3 mb to put sales at 201 mb, which stands 39% ahead of a year ago and 6% above the five-year average. Soft white booked 2.4 mb and with 105 mb in sales, sets 14% below a year ago and 5% below average. Top Buyers...The Philippines was top buyer for the week with 2.2 mb, followed by Thailand with 1.6 mb.
