DTN Closing Grain Comments 12/19 13:58 Soybeans Close Lower; Corn, Wheat Mixed to Lower Following the recent run-up fueled by the verbal agreement between U.S. and China trade negotiators, soybeans have hit the pause button, finishing down 4 cents. January beans had rallied 63 cents just since early December on news that the new trade deal would involve substantial Chinese buying of U.S. ag products. Phase one is expected to be signed in early January. Wheat and corn were mixed to mostly lower in quiet trade.
