DTN Closing Grain Comments 12/30 13:42 Soybeans Rally 11 Cents Fueled by China, Strong Soybean Oil Market Soybeans were able to gain back all of Friday losses plus some as China, on Monday, approved Corteva -- another genetically modified (GM) soybean variety, while renewing approval for 10 other GM varieties. Also adding to soybean strength was the sharp Monday rise in palm oil to 3-year highs, which spilled over into soybean oil. Wheat and corn started strong, but faltered on poor inspection data.
