DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/29 14:07 Row Crops Firm After Executive Order Reopens Meat Plants July contracts of corn, soybeans and soybean meal all closed a little higher Wednesday after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to reopen meat processing plants and get livestock production flowing again. All three wheats were lower with beneficial rain in the forecast for Europe and Ukraine. By Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed up 2 1/2 cents and December corn was up 3 1/2 cents. July soybeans closed up 5 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 5 1/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down 6 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 9 1/2 cents and July Minneapolis wheat was down 6 1/2 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading down .35 at 99.59. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 563.98 points at 24,665.53. June gold is down $8.00 at $1,714.20, July silver is up $0.09 at $15.26 and July copper is up $0.0260. June crude oil is up $2.74 at $15.08, June heating oil is up $0.0652, June RBOB gasoline is up $0.050 and June natural gas is down $0.080.
